R&Cs: My Body

What are the odds of two singers with the same name popping off at the same time? Thankfully, we can tell them apart: the names are spelled different, they come from different countries and they make different type of music (at least for now). So while the British Anne-Marie is holding her own in the crowded pop music landscape, the American Ann Marie is excelling as a cooing R&B songbird — clearly a throwback to the 1990s and early aughts. “My Body” is the latest single off of her very (very!) satisfying Pretty Psycho. You couldn’t find a better one to lead off this playlist, let me tell you!
