With seven albums and countless pop hits to his name, you could understand if David Guetta just hung it up or decided to go in another direction. Last year, it looked as if that was the case with his return to his roots with the Jack Back underground house project. But it seems that has rejuvenated the French DJ and producer as he’s been showering us with a trickle of singles this year. The latest, “Stay (Don’t Go Away)”, features RAYE who last dazzled us on Odunsi’s “Tipsy“. Elsewhere, I’ve made sure to reflect Kenya’s encouraging surge of music and new voices. Many praises to Masauti, Otile Brown and Sauti Sol for conduits to promising talents. Finally, still on the new talent tip, I look forward to hearing more from the likes of 11:11, Kalin White and NBDY. With what I heard so far, they got something!
