R&Cs: Balance ton quoi

The #MeToo movement has made significant strides to stamp out rampant and (practically) normalized sexual abuse/harassment against women in professional environments as well as the perpetrators’ relative immunity. There’s still a long way to go as Angèle points out on her latest single, “Balance ton quoi” — the self-censored alternative to “balance ton porc”, which is the French equivalent to #MeToo. The Belgian star also put out a playfully serious video to drive the point home — a must watch! A great lead for a playlist that also talks about love, hardships and resilience. And we party a little bit too.
