Roll and Coasters: Green Light Go

In case you didn’t know, Becky G is no small fry in pop music. Being an American of Mexican descent, from The Wood no less, surely helped with the necessary character and edge to become a powerhouse singer (and at times rapper) in both Northern and Latin American markets. She’s also an actress by the way; so again, Becky G is no small fry. So far this year, she has delighted us with “LBD”, an R&B-meets-trap number she executed with brio. And she’s reloaded with the same formula on “Green Light Go”. And from there, we stick with a rap menu all through. There are some familiar ingredients from the states no doubt (Jaden Smith, Rich The Kid, Tech N9ne, YBN Almighty Jay), but most of the provisions are sourced from Ghana, South Africa and the UK. Gobble up!
