R&Cs: 5 Dollars

I’ve been a big fan of Christine and the Queens and I’m eager to dissect and enjoy her forthcoming album, Chris. “5 Dollars” is her third single after “Damn, dis-moi” and “Doesn’t Matter“. It’s just further proof that my faith in her abilities to deliver a great project is warranted. So, for a playlist that includes several other artists (4Keus, 6LACK, BJ The Chicago Kid, Blossoms, Jae Prynse, Phora…) that I’m always happy to champion, it was a no-brainer to start off with Héloïse Letissier‘s latest.

Hewa Yasin

I wrote as kid. (I'd die if you'd ever get your hands on those poems.) And I wrote as a teen. (We thought our raps would spearhead revolution.) I write these days to share my joys and perspectives.
