I don’t think you can ever go wrong with Niska if you need to bring the energy up a notch (or a thousand). His latest single, “W.L.G”, showcases the natural progression of a unique style that derived from an effective blend of trap music, afro pop, hypeman tricks, classic lyricism and street colloquialisms. (Word to the D.O.C, no one can do it better!) You will either of those elements from the other songs in this playlist, which leans more towards straight up rap. Asides Niska (Commando), I would also recommend checking out the latest projects from the up-and-comers like Isaiah Dreads (South West EP), Kayo Genesis (the upcoming Bad Sushi) and Bobby Sessions (RVLTN – Chapter 1: The Divided States of AmeriKKKa) But first things first, enjoy this one right here.

Hewa Yasin
