R&Cs: J’ai plus le temps

Hello and thanks for checking this playlist. I can’t appreciate you enough for that. I picked to start this one with “J’ai plus le temps”, a jam from a little known rap group from the Paris suburbs. With so little said about them on the net, I can’t even figure out if they’re a trio or a four-member crew. You may ask why I made the choice. It’s simply because putting together these ‘Roll and Coasters’ playlists comes down to the music — what sounds good and what meshes together. The constant parameter being the latest videos I find on YouTube. And — let’s be honest and keep it a hunnid — because I can do it! While we’re here, let’s appreciate that the music heroes we grew up listening are still badass — I see you Alpha Blondy.

Hewa Yasin

I wrote as kid. (I'd die if you'd ever get your hands on those poems.) And I wrote as a teen. (We thought our raps would spearhead revolution.) I write these days to share my joys and perspectives.
