R&Cs: Fella

It may have to do with the fact that this Tanzania duo has been a firm favorite for a few years now. And let’s not forget that their last album was constantly in my rotation throughout 2017. It may have to do with the fact that the preceding edition started off with a gem from Africa and I felt like starting a streak. Still, “Fella”, Navy Kenzo’s latest single, is an absolute banger. The vibrant video is a marvelous exposition of African style and colors. So, it made sense to have it lead this strong selection.

Hewa Yasin
