R&Cs: New Light

Back in the day — over a decade ago, I believe — one of my high school homies introduced me to the music of John Mayer. (I’ve been a fan ever since.) His latest single, “New Light”, is reminiscent of the early stuff the homie used to send my way. And I love the simplicity of the video. (Kinda like his early…🤔) Also, I would like to shout coincidence for lining up female excellence. And speaking of excellence, I tip my hat to Falz and his “This Is Nigeria”. WOW!!! Still on the matter, I closed this playlist with some Snow Patrol; their latest album, the excellent (!) Wildness is gonna be a mainstay in my speakers for the next few months.
