R&Cs: Fake Love

In Lagos, 2018 has seen a relentless streak of Wizkid-featured potential hits. “Fake Love” has gotten the video treatment and looks set to supplant “Soco”. Wizkid and Duncan Mighty makes a great pairing and there are a few good ones here: Belly and NAV, BJ The Chicago Kid and Ro James, Marwa Loud and Laguardia… Also, it was Mother’s Day yesterday, and I picked a few of the more moving odes that were released. (Nick Grant, tobi lou and Vybz Kartel making their mamas proud — like 2 Chainz and ’em.)

Hewa Yasin
