Last year, Maleek Berry blessed us with an absolute gem of an EP, Last Daze of Summer. Although he’s built on that with a few singles this year already, it felt like a crime to not have a video for one of the EP’s highlights my personal favorite, “Let Me Know”. I also hope you’ll appreciate the variety of artists (from 21 Savage to John Legend) that chose to use their plaform and put a spotlight on the serious issues currently rocking us. Enjoy!
I wrote as kid. (I'd die if you'd ever get your hands on those poems.) And I wrote as a teen. (We thought our raps would spearhead revolution.) I write these days to share my joys and perspectives. I am as subjective as they come. I found a bunch of blessed souls that are just as expressive. And Africa is all the better for it. (I think I never really changed.)
