Back again with another round of the latest music videos and music footage that really caught my attention this past week. First off, I’ll take the major L for sleeping on Alessia Cara. But better late than never, so I went through the album and you can now consider me a fan. Asides that, do watch for the amusing interpretation of Cupid by comedian Hannibal Buress (“The New Cupid”), the literal take by The Chainsmokers on their new hit’s video (“Don’t Let Me Down”) and the Galantis colorful nod to the Lord of the Flies movie (“No Money”). Also, in a best of both worlds moment, it is pretty special to see how one of the most popular operatic tenors ever meshed with the Godfather of Soul. Finally, what is there to say of the rousing Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran and Gary Clark Jr. tribute to Stevie Wonder? Feast your eyes…
1 YouTube aside, you will hear “It’s a Man’s, Man’s, World”, the title of the 1966 LP by James Brown & The Famous Flames.
2 YouTube aside, you will hear Stevie Wonder’s “Sir Duke” from his 1976 classic, Songs in the Key of Live.
